Klikaklu Scavenger Hunts App Reviews

I was super excited about using this app but after installing it, even the very first step (quick demo) wouldnt load. No way Id pay $13.99 for something that doesnt work right off the bat. Its too bad because this is a cool idea.

As an administrator of a hunt I had a great deal of fun using Klikaklu hunt options to create clues, quizzes and award points and rewards customized to each clue. The hunters that participated have shared their fun in completing clues. Following the participants on the leaderboard keeps you connected to the hunt and keeps the spirit of competition ongoing. I highly recommend this app.

Used Klikaklu for team building for group of 14 Teams had a great time. Super easy fun challenging scavenger hunt.

Downloaded this app earlier this evening. So far its capabilities are very impressive. Cant wait to play with it more!

Works great. Now I am going to do this for my science class at our school or do some outdoors for extra credit. They just have to show or send me a picture of the last clue. I am also hoping to create some in tandem with our geocaching trips so they are easier and more fun for my kids. Please make it so the maps arent black to begin with. I imagine if you dont have it so zoomed in it would solve the problem.

I cant wait to introduce my students to this app. Im making hunts to enhance our math lessons and encourage cooperative learning.

Great app. I make treasure hunts for my kids all the time. This makes it easier and is a lot of fun.

$10 is a little steep for a scavenger hunt app. Plus it lost my hunt that I had worked so hard on even after I had saved it.

Fantastic app! The hunts that can be accessed for free have many options and allow for many different types of hunts. The payed options are worth the price as they offer many additional features that make your hunt more in-depth and personalized. Highly recommend it!

Seriously, download this app and play around with it. (But do a test run before letting others play so you know the clues are coming at the right time). This game is fun to use all year round- although for my test run I made a Christmas scavenger hunt for hubby and son to play. I wanted to make a multiplication tables game with this but got shot down:(. But for you other parents who want ideas- this would be fun to incorporate into education. Not only do they exercise the lesson you are using, but they also learn how to follow instructions and look for clues and meaning within the words given. But if you arent using it for education, it still makes for family team building fun! Right?!! Just create clues, use pictures or location or hints to get them from one station to the next. This app makes creating hints so easy and fun!

App seems to be well thought out but not advertising that this app is just a 7day trial (not even on the apps website) is being purely deceptive. Even the glowing reviews on blogs etc (probably paid for anyways) seem to mention a price point. Thanks but no thanks.

Brilliant App!!! Had a hoot with kids on their Easter Egg hunt this year and plan to use it for some events coming up. Easy to use and a ton of fun.

In app purchases are the chance to buy the premium version for $10. If u havent made ur scavenger hunts within the first 2 days then u have no choice but to buy the premium version. 2 days isnt long especially when u have a busy week ahead. I think they could have been generous enough to say that u can make ur first hunt for free. But now I feel like if I dont do it right now I wont get a chance to try it before I have to pay for it. Its a little frustrating. It says that u can do other peoples scavenger hunts unlimited for free. But in my family if I dont set them up, then nobody else will.

I bought new sleeping bags for my kids, camping trip next week. I sent them on a hunt to find the bags, they had a great time and were thrilled with the reward. The hunt made getting the bags feel like a BIG gift. Clue photos work best with light, color, and objects that do not change (avoid foliage). Used photo option to create an I-spy like "Hint". Smooth, easy to use, good design, and so many possibilities. Look forward to creating bigger hunts!

Fun app, enjoyed sending my wife on a little quest, ended up at a nice restaurant. It was quick and easy to make. She thinks its very pretty too. Image matching worked like magic most of the time. Though I might be biased; Im the author. :-)
